As the Functional Business Analyst-Data & Analytics, the successful candidate will document functional business requirements based on business needs, oversee the design, perform and coordinate user acceptance testing for an Enterprise Data Platform. As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and presenting business data to support strategic decision-making across the organization. Must partner with business teams to capture the current state, business needs, and design solutions with the end in mind.
Responsibilities:
- Understanding the current business process
- Turning business process opportunities into functional requirements that technology teams can understand and build.
- Take the lead in understanding and documenting the business processes.
- Create functional requirements for technology teams.
- Solutions need to be scalable to multiple countries and regions.
- Define requirements and obtain business approvals in a timely manner
- Ensure data systems and platforms are designed and implemented to support next-generation data and analytics capabilities.
- Act as a critical liaison between technical and business teams, simplifying complex concepts and fostering data-driven decision-making.
- Lead the discussions with business teams, identify key opportunities, assess current KPI’s and measure business value from new capabilities.
- Utilize SQL to query and extract data from a variety of sources, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
- Conduct in-depth data analysis and create reports that identify trends, opportunities, and challenges for Brink’s customers.
- Create and present impactful data visualizations using tools like PowerBI
- Develop project documentation and user training materials.
- Develop end-to-end Business Intelligence framework based on requirements including recommending appropriate user experience for business analytics and reporting
- Work closely with the D&A Business and Technology teams to guide in-solution development and implementation
Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in business analytics
- 10 years of experience in using SQL and able to write queries
- 5 years of experience in Logistics and Data Analysis
- 2 years of experience in Software Testing
- Experience building complex dashboards using PowerBi
